I see that they've done a whole lot of work on Lighthouse Point. I suppose THIS is why our punch lists never got done ...and why we never got our "gorgeous tropical landscaping"

Baby got fat dry skin.....Hot Springs rocks!!

Ah good old Hot Springs is Paradise unless you have company.Then the weather is guaranteed to be windy, rainy , and/or cold.Maybe even some thunder and tornado warnings.



I have realized that if you can't use your boat ...there is nothing to do in this town.Except eat.



My son Three and his girlfriend Gidget just drove all the way down here to visit from Chicago and spent 2 days here ,probably bored out of their minds.



I drug them to thrift stores, we went out to lunch. Yesterday I finally got desperate and said "ok, let's go to the alligator farm."



Their overwhelming response was nearly mute mumbling. I said "I take that as a YES!"



Once we got there I don't think it was as horrible for them as they had imagined. Some deer kept trying to eat my shirt .Gidget was laughing like a little girl over the goats and deer. The alligators were still inside their "winter building"and didn't seem quite as lethargic as they were last time I went there.



The poor monkeys and the other animals , don't seem too happy to me. They had some beautiful cougars and they were just pacing back and forth .They didn't even look at us .



The kids woke me up at 4 this morning and they left about half an hour later on their long drive home. Drive safe babies!

My youngest son and his girlfriend are here visiting.

It's so excitng around here...this is them at 10 p.m. last night.

Yesterday we went and ate mexican food. Took a drive downtown and drove up to the mountain tower.

Naturally , I didn't have the camera with me.

Well ,it's been raining and thunder storming since they got here. and today is supposed to be more of the same.

Looked for something to eat.....saw nothing.

Cleaned junk out of truck.....

Went and worked out......

it made my feet hurt.






Couldn't find my sunglasses. My eyes were having one of those horrible "allergy days"
The sun seemed WAY too bright and my eyes felt like the elephant man. Had to stop at a yard sale and buy these snazzy "desperation glasses"

Went here...found 2 shirts.

They had a little kitten about as big as a gerbil,someone had just dumped the poor little baby that morning.

Saw this guy on the ground when I went to leave....
hope the kitten does better than he did.














Went to the library.....
I was starving and my eyes felt like they were swelling shut.

I bet if I had looked in a mirror ...Mr. Magoo would have been looking back at me.









Went here....found NOTHING!!!










Came home and took 2 hour nap.

Note to self: buy a whole bunch of matching pillow cases and make Dr.s appointment about exhaustion problem.










Took boat out for the first time since winter....

felt like I forgot everything about driving a boat......












Took Floozie2 and her daughter "Conehead" with me......










It was absolutely perfect out there....the breeze was blowing, the sun was blinding...er...I mean shining.










I still hadn't found my sunglasses so I was doomed to wear THIS!

We only had one other small problem.....










My Darling, where in the hell did you put the anchors????









Any idea how or WHY this rubber glove would be floating around in the lake?
