Thanks to all of you for your concern, and comfort. I love you guys!!!
Some random tidbits about today:
First thing ,I get to break the news to my husband.
I had emailed him last night and said "something VERY bad happened , but no one died or anything, nor did any cats"
As you can imagine, he was not too happy to hear the news.
Then I went and did the paperwork to put my real estate license in "holding'.
And what happens? Eva has a LUCKY day of actually writing a contract on some land. Now that she has my curse off her back. LOLOLOL
Then I went by the wrecking yard . They still had the truck up on the flatbed wrecker. Oh did it look pitiful.
I spoke to the "wrecking yard guy" :) and asked him...
"how does this work, will they look through there to see if anything survived the fire?"
He said "your insurance company will come out and look at it, after that you guys are free to go through it ."
There's a hideous prospect.
Earlier ,I had emailed the library and told them the fate of their books and asked them to send me a list of the books and the prices.
That reply was waiting for me when I got home. $265.00 worth of books.
ack!
I'm betting I am NOT allowed to check out any books now. lol
After waiting all day for the insurance company to call me, they finally call about 6P.M.
I find out that NONE of the contents of the truck will be covered. All they cover is , up to 200 dollars worth of clothes or luggage.
Well, crap!
But, in the case of fire, in Arkansas they waive your deductible. So , at least we will be spared paying that 50 whole bucks! lol
She said our homeowners policy may cover that stuff. But at what cost?? We will find that out Monday.
Last night Floozie2 and lake Farmer came over and hung out, and then he went and got us all pizza for dinner.
We filmed the cats doing some backflips and stuff. But i shall have to mess with that stuff latah.
Now, I must get busy on my HUGE list of work .

Remember a few months ago when you got the notice from the police saying you'd been observed throwing a cig butt out your window? and you said 'if they'd noticed, they would have seen it go into my truck bed. that's what always happens - why I have a bed of cig butts'/ my my my Don't smoke in your new truck!

anyhow---you only had a fifty dollar ded on your truck? holy crap.
whats the totalled out blue book on that thing anyhow? and what if you tell them that oh by the way... i had just been to macys.. forgot from the stress... i spent 500.00 there! on jeans for my kids! (LOL)
anyhow. fuck it.
one less thing to worry about.
i really think the library insurance will cover those books. you have pics .. and a timeline... i think you really will get out of paying that one.
the earrings.. well...maybe they could actually be cleanable... the front---way front looks alright--- the engine may even be alright---and actually--- the junkyard MAY give you 100.00 for the truck..when i totaled my hinda i got 100 for it.
anyhow--- i'm babbling

want to borrow my suburburban?
it aint much but it's free.
maybe the boys can come get it for you--it'll only take em a day--and you can sell it there????
and send the money back.
